IPOPI Clinical Care Webinar: Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome (WAS)
In October 2022, IPOPI hosted a Clinical Care Webinar on Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome, with 163 registered viewers from 41 different countries. The webinar provided a two-part global approach to WAS, presented by Dr Adli Ali and Prof Siobhan Burns.
Dr Adli Ali, Senior Clinical Lecturer and Consultants Pediatric Immunologist at UKM Medical Center Malaysia covered: how to diagnose, the warning signs, 1st to 3rd diagnostic testing as well as how to manage a patient and family with WAS.
Prof Siobhan Burns, Professor of Translational Immunology, Honorary Consultant in Immunology from the UCL Institute for Immunity and Transplantation at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust covered: the clinical course, when and how to treat, the infectious profile, patient follow-up as well as disease management.
