Immune Deficiency Foundation launches new web tool to assess immune health
In conjunction with the organization’s Medical Advisory Committee, the Immune Deficiency Foundation has created an immune system health assessment to give individuals a helpful tool to share with their healthcare provider. Once taken, a participant will receive an email list of questions to ask their healthcare provider.
Questions include those about the history of infection, previous diagnosis and general health history. The goal of the assessment if for people to take charge of their help, raise awareness about primary immunodeficiency, and, ultimately, lead to a shortened time to diagnosis.
The tool is free and can be accessed on the Immune Deficiency Foundation website.
