Celebrating 10 Years of SEAPID
The 10th Anniversary Meeting of SEAPID (South East Asia Primary Immunodeficiency Network) took place on April 8-9, in Bangkok, Thailand, marking a major milestone for the regional PID/IEI community. IPOPI was proud to co-organise this special event with Erasmus MC, Chulalongkorn University Hospital, and the Thailand Hub of Talents in Cancer Immunotherapy.
IPOPI has been a committed partner to SEAPID since its inception, and this meeting was a great opportunity to celebrate a decade of collaboration, shared achievements, and continued progress. The scientific programme was of high quality, with a strong focus on advanced therapies and their potential in the PID/IEI field.
Opening remarks were delivered by Prof Martin van Hagen, Prof Nattiya Hirankarn, and IPOPI Executive Director Johan Prevot. Johan reflected on ten years of partnership and stressed the importance of building on this foundation to meet new challenges.
A session moderated by Dr Adli Ali and Dr Jonie Tillah explored SEAPID’s next chapter, outlining future objectives and vision. The event stood as a celebration of innovation, collaboration, and a shared commitment to better care in the region.
