Canada – Québec WPIW activities
To celebrate World Primary Immunodeficiency Week, l’APIQ (l ‘Association des Patients Immunodéficients du Québec) will organise a videoconference in 5 hospitals bringing together patiens, doctors and nurses on April 23rd.
In a friendly and festive environment, nurses and doctors will welcome patients’ questions regarding diagnosis and treatment issues and help them find ways to better cope with their daily challenges. An invited physician will also do a presentation on the importance of medical research.
L’APIQ is preparing a campaign especially designed for general practitioners (GPs). To make them aware of the importance of early diagnosis GPs will receive a post card with the ten warning signs of PIDs.
