IPSPI and AMSA India Organise Walkathon to Raise IEI/PID Awareness During WPIW 2026


WPIW 2026: IPSPI, in collaboration with the Asia Medical Students Association (AMSA India), organised a Walkathon at Connaught Place, New Delhi, on 25 April 2026 to raise awareness about Inborn Errors of Immunity (IEI)/Primary Immunodeficiency (PID) among medical students, patient families, and the general public.

Pamphlets highlighting the 10 Warning Signs of PID were distributed to participants and attendees. All participants received Certificates of Participation, printed T-shirts, medals, bags, diaries, and pens. Refreshment boxes were also provided.

Professor Dr L.H. Ghotekar, Medical Superintendent, Lady Hardinge Medical College (LHMC), New Delhi, graced the event as the Guest of Honour. The walkathon successfully promoted greater awareness and understanding of IEI/PID within the community.

IPSPI in collaboration with AMSA INDIA and Butterfly organised Free General Health Checkup Camp and Awareness on IEI for Children and Parents in South Delhi on 26th April,2026.

IPSPI is honored to be awarded the trophy as appreciation for the Parent Support Organization by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
