Raising Awareness on Primary Immunodeficiencies Across India through Walkathons, Medical Education & Patient Advocacy


#WPIW 2025: Walkathon for Awareness on PID (IEI) organised by IPSPI in collaboration with Asia Medical Students Association-AMSA India at Connaught Place, New Delhi. AMSA students from various Medical Institutions of Delhi, Patients and their families, and Doctors participated in the event. Certificates of participation, medals and refreshments were given to all participants. IPSPI Brochures and the 10 warning signs of PID were distributed to participants and the general public.

#WPIW 2025: IPSPI, in collaboration with Santosh Medical College and Hospital, Ghaziabad, Delhi NCR, organised a CME on PID(IEI) under the chairmanship of Prof.Dr.Urmila Jhamb on 26th April,2025 at LT-2, Second floor, Santosh Hospital, Ghaziabad, Delhi NCR. Distinguished Faculty Speakers were Dr.Dinesh Kaul, Senior Consultant, Paediatrics, Infectious Diseases and Immunology, Sir Gangaram Hospital, New Delhi, Dr.Saumya Sagar, Assistant Professor, Department of Medicine, Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi, Dr.Nita Radhakrishnan, Additional Professor and Head, Department of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, PGICH, Noida. Delhi NCR, Dr.Sameer Bhatia, Associate Consultant, Institute of Medical Genetics and Genomics, Sir Gangaram Hospital, New Delhi, Dr.Urmila Jhamb, Head, Department of Paediatrics Critical Care, Santosh College and Hospital, Ghaziabad, Delhi NCR, Dr Arpita Chattopadhyay, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Paediatrics Critical Care and Pulmonology, Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya, New Delhi, Mrs.Rubby Chawla, Founder and President, IPSPI.

Patients Support Group Meeting: IPSPI participated in the ISBMT Conference from 2nd to 4th May,2025, at St.John’s Medical College and Hospital, Bengaluru, Karnataka. On behalf of the  National PID Patients Support Group, Rubby Chawla, Founder and President, IPSPI, was invited as a panellist in a panel discussion on 4th May,2025, under the chairmanship of Dr. Revathi Raj, Senior Consultant-Pediatric Haematology Oncology, Apollo Hospitals, Chennai.
