IPOPI now part of TRANSFORM
IPOPI is happy to announce that it is now part of TRANSFORM, the European Alliance for Transformative Therapies, a multi-stakeholder Alliance that connects Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) and policy-makers with patient groups, medical experts and associations, scientists, researchers, industry actors, networks and other relevant stakeholders.
Together with TRANSFORM IPOPI aims to further collaborate in the development and dissemination of evidence-based recommendations to enable patient access to cell and gene therapies, to inform MEPs about the specificities of these transformative therapies with a view to shaping policy and to prepare healthcare systems for the adoption of these transformative therapies.
On September 23, IPOPI was invited to attend its first TRANSFORM alliance meeting and was introduced to the rest of the membership. This meeting was devoted to discussing the priorities for the alliance in 2022, mapping out and structuring the areas where the membership has common priorities. The next exciting step for this alliance is the organisation of a forum by the TRANSFORM Members of the European Parliament Interest Group, focusing on Realising the Potential of Transformative Therapies. IPOPI is thrilled to take part in this initiative and look forward to collaborating with the other members of the alliance to target the important priorities for 2022.
