India – IAPO collaboration and CME event

Rubby Chawla, Founder and President of Indian Patients Society for Primary Immunodeficiency (IPSPI) was selected to represent South East Asia by IAPO in SEARO, the WHO Regional Office for South East Asia. Rubby was selected on the 9th of September in Dili, Timor-Leste but unfortunately could not be present at the meeting. The Health and Family Welfare Minister, Sh. J P Nadda and Dr Jagdish Prasad, Director General of Health Services, were in attendance.

IPSPI organised a National Continuous Medical Education Event (CME) on PIDs along with SVP Post Graduate Institute of Pediatrics, Cuttack and SCB Medical College, Cuttack at SVP PGIP, Cuttack on 22nd August, 2015. IPSPI brochure, IPOPI booklets along with posters and pamphlets on 10 warning signs of PID were distributed to Drs. and PG students.
