Immune Deficiency Foundation releases new specialty-specific flyers to education clinicians

The Immune Deficiency Foundation (IDF) is pleased to announce the creation of a new resource library for clinicians. Nine flyers were designed for primary care; dermatology; ear, nose, & throat; gastroenterology; haematology/oncology; hepatology; infectious disease; pulmonology; and rheumatology.  Each lists the relevant signs and symptoms of PI and how to begin diagnosis of primary immunodeficiency (PI) for their patients.

The flyers are available as downloadable and printable PDF files as well as on the IDF website. Once a PID is diagnosed by a specialist, clinicians can utilise the Consulting Immunologist programme, a clinician-to-clinician referral programme available to healthcare providers who need an expert consultation.
