The “IPOPI Hard Talks” series is steadily progressing, bringing together important stakeholders in PID diagnosis and care, including clinicians, nurses and patient group leaders. The series offers interactive discussions and expert debates, tackling challenging topics while expanding outreach to key opinion leaders across regions and enhancing clinical expertise.
In the recent IPOPI Hard Talks webinar held on 28 October, bringing together Prof Stephen Jolles, Dr Cecilia Poli and Dr Nizar Mahlaoui, an insightful overview of the implementation of calculated globulin screening for diagnosing patients with antibody deficiencies was discussed. The challenges and opportunities in improving this diagnostic tool were addressed in detail, sparking a lively and informative debate.
