Germany – dsai’s first ever virtual CME event

On November 21st dsai’s first ever virtual CME (continuing medical education) event took place in Dresden in collaboration with the university hospital of the city. Prof Catharina Schütz and her colleagues gave a comprehensive overview on the topic “PID” to more than 120 physicians – GPs, pediatricians, internists and more to raise awareness.
The talks included the following topics: diagnosis of PIDs, SCID-screening, antibody deficiency, autoinflammation, secondary immunodeficiencies, chronic inflammatory bowel disease, vaccination and rheumatism.
The opportunity for Q&A via chat was also used frequently and contributed to the successful outcome of the event.
In 2021 dsai will expand this concept and offer more virtual CME events with PID-centers all over Germany.
