ERN RITA Welcomes New Leadership for Primary Immunodeficiencies

The European Reference Network for Rare Immunological Disorders (ERN RITA) recently revealed the appointment of their new Stream Lead for primary immunodeficiencies. We are pleased to announce that Prof Isabelle Meyts (UZ Leuven, Belgium) and a long-time member of the IPOPI Medical Advisory Panel, succeeds Prof  Michael Albert to advance PID patient diagnosis and care across Europe. Professor Meyts joins IPOPI’s Executive Director, Johan Prévot (ERN-RITA, Patient Organisations PID Lead), on the RITA Board and brings with her deep expertise in PID care and long-standing engagement within the ERN RITA network.
