DSAI takes over the patronage of the podcast ‘Diagnosis Compass Rare Diseases’ for Rare Disease Day

The exciting podcast ‘Diagnosis Compass Rare Diseases’ provides insights into life with rare diseases and shows new approaches in diagnostics and therapy. In eight episodes, experts, patients and relatives discuss the special challenges associated with rare diseases and the path from innovative approaches in diagnostics and therapy to the patient.

Rare diseases and PID are a challenge for everyone involved – for those affected and their families, who often go through an odyssey lasting years until an accurate diagnosis is made. At the same time, doctors are often faced with the challenge of correctly categorising often unspecific symptoms, making a suspected diagnosis and taking the right steps despite little experience.

The podcast ‘Diagnosis Compass Rare Diseases’ is under the patronage of dsai e.V., the German Patient Organisation for PID. The dsai advocates for people with PID and provides information, counselling and support for to those affected and their families.
