The Global Patients’ Meeting is around the corner

The countdown for the XVII IPOPI Global Patients Meeting (GPM) has started and the final preparations are underway! IPOPI Board and Staff are getting ready to welcome PID patient representatives from all over the world to Gothenburg, Sweden from 12 to 15 October, during three inspiring meeting days with the PID community.

IPOPI members who have not yet done so are encouraged to register for the GPM via ESID’s website.

Participants in the 2022 edition will have the opportunity to learn about topics such as the importance of data, clinical trials, curative treatments, ultra-rare PIDs and much more. The programme will enable IPOPI National Member Organisations (NMOs) to stay current on the latest medical advances in PIDs while also learning new skills to better manage their national groups.

Attend IPOPI’s PID Champion Awards Dinner

On October 13, all NMO representatives attending the GPM are invited to the IPOPI PID Champions Awards Ceremony. During this dinner, we will not only celebrate IPOPI’s 30 years as an organisation but also reveal the winners of the LeBien and Luciano Vassalli Awards. As if this were not enough, we also have the pleasure of announcing the winners of the IPOPI BIG Award, a new initiative recognising community projects. Don’t miss out on this spectacular and fun evening for our members!

The GPM will end with a fun social event on the morning of October 15, where NMO representatives attending the GPM are invited to explore Gothenburg with IPOPI.
