Germany – dsai e.V. celebrates its 30 year anniversary

30 years ago, November 1991, the German patient organisation for primary immunodeficiencies  ”dsai e.V.“ was founded by Chair Gabriele Gründl. Having received the diagnosis “primary immunodeficiency“ for her 2-year-old son. Gabriele Gründl originally established the organisation mainly for the mutual support and exchange of information with other parents affected. Today, dsai counts nearly 1000 members in 15 regional chapters and has become an important counterpart in the network of medical science, politics, industry and international organisations. dsai´s main mission remains:  to be the first port of call.  But also, the improvement of public awareness, continuing training of physicians, access to early diagnosis and optimal treatments for primary immunodeficiency patients in order to raise life quality for persons concerned.

The anniversary provides a nice occasion for commemorating 30 years of quite remarkable development and to determine 30 essential milestones and 30 congratulations.
