AAPIDP’s 3rd Patient Meeting & New Campaign Launch

On November 16, in the city of Mar del Plata, at Dr Oscar Alende Regional Hospital, we carried out the AAPIDP 3rd Patient & Family Meeting with the support of our main specialist in PID, Dr Ignacio Uriarte. This space allows us to share experiences, knowledge, feelings, and concerns with the support and guidance of different health professionals. After the meeting, we shared lunch and interacted with each other. 54 people participated.

On November 20, we launched the campaign “WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU”, on social media to find patients already diagnosed who do not know our organisation and on the other hand through messages of warning signs that could suspect and help to obtain a timely diagnosis. We also launched a GEOLOCATED MEDICAL BOOKLET to help people find an immunologist specialist in PIDs. Also, this campaign is a great opportunity to share our services with patients and families.
