20 Years of AAPIDP – Raising Awareness with #CardsOfLife
In the context of World Rare Disease Day, our Association joined the initiative of the Argentine Federation of Rare Diseases -FADEPOF-#CardsOfLife, where each card reflects the everyday challenges faced by people with RD (Rare Diseases). This initiative sought to generate empathy and awareness about the reality of people living with RD and their families, challenging people to reflect on how they would cope with this situation.
Two decades ago, A.A.P.I.D.P. was founded with a clear purpose: to accompany, assist, and give a voice to patients and families with primary immunodeficiencies.
This marks 20 years of tireless work, a shared effort among patients, families, doctors, nurses, and volunteers. Because we know that an early diagnosis, access to adequate treatment, and appropriate support can change lives. Let’s celebrate together because this anniversary is a milestone for everyone.
Starting in March, therapeutic workshops will begin, the first of which is titled “How do I/how do we sustain treatment?” and the launch of the Youth Program “You Matter: We want to get to know you.”
