Argentina – Patient workshops and recent campaigns

From June to September, the Argentine Association for the Aid of the Patient with Primary Immunodeficiency (AAPIDP) organised two different Virtual Therapeutic Workshops, one focusing on “How to strengthen the doctor-patient relationship and the other on “What do we learn when we go through a chronic illness?”. Both workshops were led by Lic. Florencia Ugo.

We also joined the campaign for the International Day of Neonatal Screening on our social networks as well as raised awareness of the importance of “Donating Blood and Plasma” for our community, by campaigning on this topic.

To empower our community, we also held a virtual workshop on “The active role of the patient in accessing the health system from a legal and social perspective”, led by Dra. Andrea Passodomo and Lic. Paola Cardillo, as part of AAPIDP team.

As a final activity on September 10, we celebrated “Children’s Day” (see video). This activity was organised at the Children’s Museum where a beautiful afternoon of games was shared, and toys and snacks were given to the participants.
