AAPIDP Hosts Patient Workshop in Córdoba
On September 14, in the province of Cordoba, AAPIDP, together with UNC Hemoderivados, created a space for meeting and reflection where patients, families and other participants were able to exchange experiences and listen to a panel of experts from various disciplines.
About 45 participants joined this meeting on Saturday morning at the Blood Derivatives Laboratory, National University of Córdoba. We shared coffee during registration and afterwards lunch where we had the opportunity to interact and get to know each other.
The objective of this patient workshop was to update concepts, doubts and concerns so that they can be answered by health professionals.
The topics addressed were effective access to medical services, self-care, pharmacovigilance, nutrition, adherence to treatment, types of immunoglobulins, infusion and handling, etc.
We appreciate the advice of the Ministry of Health of Córdoba and the Superintendence of Health Services of the Nation, as well as doctors and nurses, and thank them for accompanying us in this valuable event.
