IPOPI 2021 Review of Activities and Achievements

The 2021 Review of Activities and Achievements for IPOPI is now available. 2021 was a busy year for IPOPI, filled with events, campaigns, and policy efforts to improve care for patients with primary immunodeficiencies.

The new strategic plan for 2021–2025 served as a guide to strengthen our educational programme in 2021. We published six new educational PID leaflets during the year, held several webinars for PID Clinical Care Education, and produced a mini-documentary on PIDs with anti-inflammatory and rheumatological crossovers (part 1 & part 2). Additionally, we have continued to foster stakeholder collaboration in projects like ERN-Rita and Screen4Rare. IPOPI was also instrumental in the establishment of International Neonatal Screening Day, taking place annually on June 28.

Additionally, we have successfully organised three regional PID patient meetings in Africa (Hybrid), Latin America (Online), and Asia (Online advocacy workshop), in addition to several EU PID Forums in the European Parliament. We are pleased to collaborate with and represent an increasing number of national member organisations that are committed to enhancing the lives of PID patients.

We hope you will enjoy reading this annual report, which highlights the most significant IPOPI initiatives, campaigns, and events in the previous year.
