AAPIDP Hosts 4th National Meetings on Primary Immunodeficiencies in Buenos Aires and Tucumán
On Saturday, May 31, the Association for Assistance to Patients with Primary Immunodeficiencies (AAPIDP) held the 4th Meeting of Patients and Families with Primary Immunodeficiencies at Garrahan Hospital in Buenos Aires. Dr. Matias Oleastro, Dra. Claudia Merhar and Dra. Mariana Villa was part of the medical panel. Also, our social worker Lic. Cardillo was part of the social panel. These meetings allow families to connect, share experiences, and, most importantly, consult with specialists, answer questions, and receive information on access to treatments, diagnoses, and patient rights. A coffee break was shared in the middle of the meeting.
On April 26, in commemoration of World Primary Immunodeficiency Week, the Association for Assistance to Patients with Primary Immunodeficiencies (AAPIDP) held the 4th Meeting of Patients and Families with Primary Immunodeficiencies at the Niño Jesús Hospital in Tucumán. Dr Natalia Tahuil as the specialist immunologist, was responsible for the panel discussion. Families could share the daily challenges they face with this condition, as well as receive updates and valuable information from professionals. We also have the honour to receive the Minister of Health of Tucuman as well as the Director of the Hospital. After the meeting, we shared lunch all together
