IPOPI’s Health Application 4ID has New Features

On Rare Disease Day, February 28, we released new features for 4ID, our health management app designed specifically for patients with primary and secondary immunodeficiency. These features will help patients track their general health as well as their immunodeficiency-related parameters, schedule appointments, log absences from work and school, and much more.

The 4ID app, which is a digital health agenda designed specifically for patients with immunodeficiency, offers a range of features to help patients track their health. One of the most important new features of the app is the ability to track general parameters such as mood, weight, temperature and nutrition. Following a doctor’s visit, patients can also track immunodeficiency-specific parameters such as plasma levels, red and white blood cell count, platelets and much more. This will allow patients to monitor their overall health and identify any changes or patterns that may require attention.

For patients who need to take time off from work or school due to their condition, the app now includes a feature that allows them to log their absences directly in the app, making it easier to keep track of the reasons behind these absences. Another new key feature is the ability to track appointments and get timely email reminders.

The launch of these new features on Rare Disease Day is particularly significant, as it highlights the importance of supporting patients with rare and complex health conditions. By providing patients with a dedicated health management app, we hope to make it easier for patients to cope with the necessary paperwork needed to keep track of their condition and improve their quality of life.
