World Primary Immunodeficiencies Week is almost here!

With World Primary Immunodeficiencies Week 2016 just around the corner, IPOPI is looking forward to collaborating with its member organisations to make it a great success. This year’s campaign will continue to focus on TEST! DIAGNOSE! TREAT! with a specific emphasis on the need to ensure optimal treatment for all patients with primary immunodeficiencies (PIDs). All PID patients should have access to safe, efficient and appropriate treatments throughout the world. This will not only benefit patients and their own health but it will also optimize the management of national healthcare resources.

IPOPI will be providing strategic and financial support to its NMOs to facilitate their participation and ensure consistent national implementation in alignment with the goals of WPIW2016. If you still have not started planning your campaign, don’t hesitate to reach out to us to bounce ideas and get advice!  To download this year’s campaign resources or get inspired, please visit www.worldpiweek.org. New materials are now available and can be translated into your language, printed, distributed locally and shared online.

One campaign, one brand!
WPIW is a worldwide awareness campaign and in order to make it stronger and more visible to the general public it is our collective duty to have a unified voice and a unified image. It is important that everyone participating passes forward the key messages of the campaign on the importance of testing, diagnosing and treating PIDs in their local efforts. The use of the campaign’s logo, colours and materials in the various campaigns taking place this year will be key to ensure consistent branding and increase visibility. If you are printing banners, t-shirts, leaflets please include the WPIW logo, if you have a stand in an event or in a special location please remember to take with you the WPIW poster.  Is your campaign using online awareness through social media and other website? – perfect!, please remember to share dedicated messages and images throughout WPIW.

IPOPI is one of the founding member organisations of the WPIW initiative and a member of the WPIW Steering Committee since the campaign’s inception. To date, IPOPI has supported close to 90 national campaigns!
