Get ready for the XIVth Biennial Meeting!

IPOPI is looking forward to welcome all its members, from September 21 to 24, in the fantastic city of Barcelona, Spain. IPOPI Biennial Meetings are one of the most important events for our members with a dedicated skills building programme, medical lectures tailored for patients, award ceremonies and more! If you have not yet register you can do it here

This year the IPOPI Biennial Meeting programme will feature one workshop on the PID Principles of Care, looking at ways National Member Organisations (NMOs) can prioritise the Principles accordingly to their national needs. Other very interesting sessions in the programme will help our members develop their activities are fundraising, ideas and strategies for awareness.

Several medical lectures will help patient representatives better understand what’s new on the field, such as, newborn screening for Severe Combined Immunodeficiencies (SCID NBS) and novel therapies for gastrointestinal issues in Common Variable Immunodeficiency (CVID). A join session with INGID will analyse the benefits of transition care (from paediatric care to adult care), a pressing topic for many families.

On the evening of September 22 IPOPI will host an award ceremony where the Luciano Vassalli Award, that distinguishes a young person who has made a difference in the community, and the LeBien Family Award, who is dedicated to an adult who has significantly improved the conditions for PID patients international, will both be presented.
IPOPI’s Annual General Assembly will be held on September 23 and on the morning of the last day there will some time to relax with a social programme designed for our members.

The IPOPI Biennial Meeting is being organised in collaboration with the European Society for Immunodeficiencies (ESID) and the International Nursing Group for Immunodeficiencies (INGID).
